OnePlus Nord Buds 3r
Why consider it: According to the official OnePlus India page, the Nord Buds 3r use 12.4mm titanized drivers and claim up to 12 hours on the buds and up to 54 hours with the case. A 10-minute charge is rated for up to 8 hours of playback. You also get Bluetooth 5.4, dual connection (switching between, say, your phone and laptop), a 47ms gaming mode, IP55 dust and water resistance for the buds, and a 6-band equaliser in the app. FoneArena's launch report puts the India launch price at ₹1,799.
Drawback: There is no active noise cancellation, only AI noise reduction for calls. 91mobiles' ranked list also notes the absence of in-ear detection and some reports of discomfort in long sessions.
Skip it if: you travel daily on a noisy train or bus and want the outside world quieter.
realme Buds T200x
Why consider it: This is the most affordable way into genuine active noise cancellation from a mainstream brand. FoneArena's launch report lists up to 25dB ANC, 12.4mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC and AAC, a 45ms game mode, IP55, four mics for calls, dual-device connection and Google Fast Pair. Battery is rated at 7 hours per charge and 48 hours with the case with ANC off, or 5 and 30 hours with ANC on. It launched at ₹1,599.
Drawback: 25dB is light noise cancellation. It takes the edge off fan and engine hum but will not silence a crowded office. Battery life with ANC on is noticeably shorter than the headline 48 hours.
Skip it if: strong ANC is your top priority. Then see the stretch option below.
boAt Nirvana Ion ANC
Why consider it: The official boAt page lists up to 32dB ANC, up to 120 hours of total playback with the case, 10mm drivers, quad mics with ENx for calls, a 60ms BEAST gaming mode and IPX4 sweat resistance. That total battery figure is the highest in this list, which suits people who forget to charge the case. At our check on 28 Oct 2026 (IST) it was listed on boAt at ₹1,799 — see the Nirvana Ion ANC deal page for the latest checked price.
Drawback: It uses Bluetooth 5.2, an older version than the 5.4 on the OnePlus, realme and OPPO picks, and IPX4 is a lower water rating than IP55. boAt does not state how long the buds last with ANC switched on. The boAt product page also showed a "restocking soon" notice when we looked, so check stock for your colour at checkout.
Also consider: the Nirvana Ion ANC Pro, listed by boAt at ₹1,899 on 28 Oct 2026 with the same 32dB ANC claim plus LDAC in its listing title.
Skip it if: you work out hard or get caught in the rain often; the IP55 picks are better protected.
OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro
Why consider it: The OPPO India specification page lists a 12.4mm driver, 12 hours per charge and 54 hours with the case, a 10-minute charge for 4 hours of bud playback, Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC and SBC, and IP55 for the buds. OPPO's own India sale announcement gave a starting price of ₹1,799. At our 28 Oct 2026 check it was ₹1,399 on Flipkart — see the Enco Buds3 Pro deal page.
Drawback: No active noise cancellation, and OPPO's spec page gives no gaming latency figure, so it is not the pick for competitive mobile gaming.
Skip it if: you need ANC, or you mainly want the lowest gaming lag.
Noise Buds VS102 Elite
Why consider it: For a budget near ₹1,000, the official Noise page lists 11mm drivers, up to 50 hours of total playtime, quad mics with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for calls, Bluetooth 5.3, IPX5 and up to 50ms latency. A 10-minute charge is rated for 120 minutes of playback. It was ₹1,099 on Flipkart at our 28 Oct 2026 check — see the VS102 Elite deal page.
Drawback: ENC only cleans up your voice on calls; it does not reduce noise for you. Noise's own page also gives two different full-charge times (90 and 120 minutes), so treat the charging claim as approximate.
Skip it if: you can stretch to ₹1,500–1,800; the picks above add ANC or IP55.
Stretch option: CMF Buds 2a
If you want stronger noise cancellation and can spend slightly more, the CMF Buds 2a from Nothing launched in India at ₹2,199, according to FoneArena. It lists up to 42dB ANC, 12.4mm drivers, four mics, IP54 and up to 35.5 hours with the case (ANC off). Smartprix's June 2026 list showed it at ₹1,999, so it sometimes dips under budget, but we have not verified a current price, so we keep it outside the five core picks.
How to choose between them
- Daily commute on a bus, metro or train: pick an ANC model. The Nirvana Ion ANC claims deeper ANC (32dB) than the realme Buds T200x (25dB).
- Office calls and online classes: realme, boAt and Noise list four mics for calls, OnePlus lists two with AI call noise reduction; the OnePlus and realme add dual-device connection for switching between phone and laptop.
- Gym and outdoor use: prefer IP55 (OnePlus, realme, OPPO) over IPX4.
- Gaming: look for a stated low-latency figure. realme lists 45ms, OnePlus 47ms, Noise 50ms and boAt 60ms; OPPO does not list one.
- Battery: headline totals include the case and usually assume ANC off. Compare per-charge hours, and ANC-on hours where the brand gives them.

Check the price before you pay
Earbud prices in India swing widely around sales, and the MRP printed on listings is often far above what anyone pays. Before buying, open the product's page on Deals Basket and check our dated price checks, or use the price tracker to see whether today's price is actually low. Bank offers and coupons can lower the final amount but usually depend on specific cards. More shortlists are on our Best Picks page.
Frequently asked questions
Which earbuds under ₹2,000 have the best noise cancellation?
Among the five core picks, the boAt Nirvana Ion ANC claims the deepest ANC at up to 32dB, followed by the realme Buds T200x at up to 25dB. The CMF Buds 2a claims up to 42dB but launched at ₹2,199.
Is ENC the same as ANC?
No. ENC (environmental noise cancellation) uses the microphones to reduce background noise in what the other person hears on a call. ANC (active noise cancellation) reduces outside noise for you while you listen.
Do I need IP55 earbuds?
If you sweat a lot, exercise outdoors or use earbuds in the rain, IP55 or IPX5 gives better protection than IPX4. For desk and home use, IPX4 is usually enough.
Are the battery figures accurate?
They are the brands' own claims, usually measured at moderate volume with ANC off. Expect fewer hours with ANC on, at high volume, or as the battery ages.
Which is best for an iPhone?
The OnePlus, realme and OPPO picks list AAC support, the Bluetooth codec iPhones use for better quality. Brand apps and some features may work best with the brand's own phones.
